This seasonal update of the Metropolis Jacket combines the iconic piece's signature features with a cutting-edge construction and unique printing technique. A fully adjustable protective hood is paired with an integrated face mask component, whilst full zip and storm flap fastening ensures a sealed, secure barrier against all weather conditions. With a functional system of utility pockets, and the Metropolis Series logo badge at the chest. Crafted in Memri, a densely woven polyester and nylon micro-fibre canvas, engineered with a crease-retaining surface that's naturally water-repellent. Tracery pieces are over-printed with a sublimation technique, combining heat, pressure and time to produce a distinctive shadowed effect that outlines the garment's fundamental details.

C.P. Company was founded in Bologna, Italy in 1975 by Massimo Osti, the revolutionary designer internationally recognized as the “godfather of urban sportswear”. The brand immediately found favour amongst Italian intellectuals and artists thanks to its subtly non-conformist interpretation of the functional classics of the urban man’s wardrobe.

For more than 45 years the brand has continued to pioneer it’s signature hybridization of archival military, work and sportswear models, combining them with intensely researched, cutting-edge, Italian fabric innovation. This fabric innovation has always been driven and heightened by the use of garment dyeing, a technique which C.P. Company was the first in the world to develop in the mid 1970s, in which fully-finished garments made from multiple fabric and fiber types are dyed as final step. This incredibly complex technique, which still today only a handful of brands are able to use, produces clothing with unique chromatic richness and tone-on-tone subtlety.

The final result is piece of clothing which is easy-to-wear, feeling like you’ve always owned from the moment you first try it on (because elegance, as Massimo Osti said, means wearing your outfit with ease), but at the same time distinctively non-conformist – even ironic – in its details.
